It has been a long time since I've posted anything. I love reading everyone's blogs, but I have a hard time taking the time or remembering to blog about my life. Since the last time I've posted I found my wedding dress. My mom, Aunt Kathy, my sister, and I went to Ivory and White to just look around. The first dress I tried on I fell in love with. It looked amazing on and was everything I wanted. There was no way I could let this dress go. So, I bought it with 15 months to go until my wedding day. My sister showed my niece a picture of me wearing my dress. She got so excited and said, "I want to drop the flowers on the floor." I love my niece! The owner and assistant at Ivory and White were amazing and I highly recommend this bridal boutique.
Casey's mom also gave us her grandmother's silver. I love it! As I've mentioned before, I would rather have something passed down from family members than bought from a store. Having pieces from Casey's great grandmother means a lot to the both of us. Karen, thank you again!

Presents!!!
Casey and I have already received a few presents and the wedding is over a year away. Over the years Granny has given all of her granddaughters a cake plate for their engagement. Casey and I were no different and received a beautiful cake plate. My mother gave us crystal toasting flutes as well.
Everyone already knows that my family is the most important thing to me. About a month ago Granny called me and asked if I would like one of her sets of china. I was thrilled. I had not planned on registering for china, because it just didn't seem practical. My mother and sister both have china I could use if needed. My aunt drove to my granny's for a visit and brought the china back with her. I love it. I love having something that was Granny and Pop's. The sentimental value of having pieces that belong to your family is wonderful and beats anything you can buy in a store.

Great week at home!!
I'm home on fall break and loving every second. I have spent each day with my niece and nephew. My week has been filled with hop scotch, side walk chalk, gymnastics, tea parties, swing sets, and most importantly my nephew sleeping in my arms.
Today my mom and I started the registering process for my wedding. So far we have decided to register at Macy's and Bed Bath and Beyond.
